Legende

A “legende” is a narrative or story that is often rooted in folklore or tradition, typically conveying a moral or cultural lesson. The term can refer to tales that involve historical events, legendary figures, or mythical creatures, often embellished over time to reflect the values and beliefs of a community. In a broader context, it can also refer to a key or guide that explains symbols or elements within a map, chart, or artwork. In literature, legends are distinguished from myths in that they are often based on real people or events, albeit with significant fictional embellishments. Legends serve to preserve cultural heritage, convey the collective wisdom of societies, and entertain audiences through their engaging plots and characters.
